There are various types of interpreters, such as simultaneous, consecutive, whispering and facilitating. When you require an interpreter or simultaneous conference interpreters, TJC provides qualified and experienced interpreters who is proficient in the type of interpreting which you require, for example:
- Simultaneous Interpreting, where the interpreter listens to the original speaker and communicates in the target language, is commonly used for conferences with a large number of participants and where several different languages are used.

Consecutive interpreting is more suitable for smaller-scale conferences. The speaker delivers the speech or message in the source language to the interpreter, who then delivers the speech in its entirety.
- Whispering Interpreting is suitable for small group of members attending or audience. The interpreter will relay the words whispering simultaneously to original speaker. With this interpreting service, no equipment is required as the interpreter sits or stands next to the group or audience. In many cases, the majority of a group speaks the source language, and one or two people do not speak it.
- Liaison Interpreting is suitable for relaying what is spoken to one, or among several or many people. This is useful to adopt when a short speech is given or can be interpreted sentence by sentence either by consecutively or whispering or can be explained later after refering to the interpreter's note.

In many cases, our conference interpreters study the conference topics in advance; they study relevant materials or research the subject involved, to ensure that they are familiar with the vocabulary and terminology required for conference interpreting.
