Overview
The Principality of Monaco is a city-state on the north coast of the Mediterranean Sea. It is the world's most densely populated sovereign country, as well as the world's smallest French speaking country. It is considered a tax haven, and a person could walk across the width of the country in just under an hour.
Languages
French is the official language of Monoco, but other languages spoken include Monegasque, Italian and English.
Economy
Monaco relies on tourism for much of its income, especially because of its world-famous casino, as well as its Mediterranean climate. The country's key industries are tourism, construction, small-scale industrial and consumer products, although it has no natural resources to speak of.
